Amber Joy (AJ) is an internationally award-winning tattoo artist renowned for her expertise in color realism. While widely recognized for her mastery in this style, AJ is also highly accomplished across a broad spectrum of tattoo genres, having received accolades for her versatility and innovation in the field. Her passion for art and commitment to excellence have taken her around the globe, participating in and judging at some of the world's most prestigious tattoo conventions. AJ believes strongly in the power of creative exchange, often collaborating with a diverse range of artists to continually refine and expand her craft. Before launching her tattooing career, AJ was awarded a full scholarship for her exceptional art portfolio and pursued studies in Art and Art History at Bowling Green State University for three years. She began her formal tattoo apprenticeship in 2012 and has since dedicated herself fully to the art form. After seven years of professional tattooing, she founded her first studio, Black Finch Art Company, in 2020—a space that reflects her commitment to artistic excellence and community.
